I got to take a break and got a little R&R this 4th of July. Hopped on a plane to Louisiana and I crocheted a flag the whole way! I felt like a modern day Betsy Ross, and that is why I decided to make an old school 13 star flag. It is massive in size and soft to the touch. Being out in the middle of nowhere was a first. I drank beer in a blow up pool, set fire to a lantern, and got to hold a gun...YAAAS
I want to learn the Louisiana Bunny Hop. Teach me please.
This may be my favorite of all time! I have added to my yarn bomb on Metropolitan Ave. because it is still up and going strong after 2 weeks. The location is on, yet off the beaten path, so it gets a lot of foot traffic! I want to continue to add to it all summer. This shows off the power of love :)
I have a 2 week stint on Fab.com. I am selling dream catchers in all different colors. If you are looking to have some sweet dreams, pick up an original London Kaye dreamcatcher TODAY!!
This was inspired by a photo I saw and the image was designed by @whatevertransparent. I recreated in in crochet on a fence down the street from my humble apartment. I usually put things up on the other side of the block, however I was kindly asked to put something up here, in the airplane garden.
I had help installing this one, and when we arrived a few men were stacking wood inside. I introduced myself and then we went on tying up the piece. The balloon was the biggest challenge, some lifting was involved, it was all quite erotic.
I was under the impression that international yarn bombing day was on June 11th. I wanted to do something special for the big day so I made an out of the world style piece, Intergalactic Yarn Bomb Day! Turns out, it is not the holiday I thought it was.
I suppose I will have to do something about this...
This project was a request from a friend at work. I jumped on the opportunity because it was so fitting with this time of year. Brazil is the hot place to be right now, world cup now and then olympics 2016. So in the spirit of the that...I made a Brazil Flag! Enjoy.
I discovered that flags make good blankets!
I saw this 16:20 tag all over Tel Aviv. I could not help but stop and take photos of every one. The day I retuned to NY, instead of sleeping my jet lag off, I decided to crochet my own version on this clever little thing!
