It's London's Birthday! What better place to celebrate than Wooster, Ohio. Am I right? Considering we had the bar to ourselves in the photo above, maybe I'm wrong. But London is here working on a massive crocheted billboard that is going to be up in Time Square, so Wooster it is! We started the day off with a complimentary breakfast at our lovely hotel, before heading into the billboard factory. London decided our job today would be adhering crocheted snowflakes to the navy blue background we easily and effortlessly attached yesterday. (I'm just kidding. It was far from easy. It took a little over 12 hours and I may or may not have had a couple of break downs along the way) Anyway, In the hopes of getting a celebratory dinner in, we thought optimistically. "We'll be done gluing all 800 snowflakes onto the billboard by 4:00. No problem!" Turns out, by the time 4:00 rolled around, we were far from done, but I give us an A+ for effort. We stayed for an extra two hours before calling it a night. We didn't finish the snowflakes, but we got through half and that was enough to feel deserving of a birthday celebration.
Now, if you recall, we are in Wooster, Ohio, so not much to do. The celebration began at Walmart, trying on ugly christmas sweaters. (See what I mean?) I know what you're thinking, "Woah, calm down girls, you're crazy. Too much party!" But the fun didn't end there. Oh no it didn't! We hit up all the local restaurants that were open (aka McDonalds) and pigged out on chocolate-chip cookies and fries for only $1.95. Can somebody say "what a deal?" By this point, we were partied out, so took a quick breather back at the hotel (this time for complimentary tea and coffee) before making one last stop to culminate our make-shift birthday party. We found a local bar called Tumbleweed and although we were the only two people in it, we managed to have a great time. Our bartender was the absolute sweetest. She made us some tasty margaritas and gave us warm chips with salsa to snack on. Yummy! By 10:00, it was time to head home and hit the hay because tomorrow's going to be another long day of work. But, before I doze off, I just have to say, I will always remember spending London's 27th birthday in Wooster, Ohio, shopping at Walmart, eating Micky D's and most importantly, working on a crocheted billboard for TIME-SQUARE!!!! Happy birthday Londy! I'm your biggest fan!
